North Wales Resorts Completes Acquisition of Iconic Gorse Hill Caravan Park
North Wales Resorts (NWR), one of the fastest-growing family-run holiday park operators in the region, is proud to announce the successful acquisition of the iconic Gorse Hill Caravan Park in Conwy. This landmark purchase includes the park’s 300 pitches, the historic Manor House restaurant, and on-site accommodation, marking one of NWR’s largest and most significant acquisitions to date.
The acquisition further strengthens NWR’s premium portfolio, now comprising five family-owned and operated holiday parks across North Wales. Each site reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to exceptional customer service, high operational standards, and sustainable long-term investment – values that have made NWR a trusted name for both holidaymakers and holiday home owners.
To lead day-to-day operations at Gorse Hill, NWR has appointed Chris Buckley as Operations Manager. With over 35 years of hands-on experience in the leisure and holiday park sector, Chris has built a reputation for delivering outstanding guest experiences, streamlining park operations, and maintaining vibrant, welcoming environments.
Chris will work closely with key NWR team members, including Hayden Yates, Group sales Director whose expertise in park sales and operations has been central to the company’s growth, and Liz Jones, Marketing and Sales manager who has been instrumental in owner relations and marketing across all parks. Together, this seasoned leadership team will ensure Gorse Hill retains its unique charm while benefitting from fresh investment and operational excellence.
